I use a macbook pro 2016 13-inch to play my games, so i connect the USB controller with a USB-C to USB Adapter. I'm using the PS2 controller, and it works just fine (plug and play). Dolphin Emulator Controller Problems I'm running Dolphin emulator, and using a Retrolink Gamecube USB Controller. And its constantly updated, so if you have trouble one day, just try again the next. Dolphin is the ultimate Wii and Gamecube emulator. Of course, its best to use an ordinary game controller for almost every game. What do I need to configure on my emulators to make the controller compatible with the software? You can also configure the Wii controllers however you want, even connecting the Wiimote to your PC (if you have an adapter). In the Gamecube Controllers config area, you can configure or disable the emulated. The main controller configuration window will appear, as seen in the screenshot below. To open and manage the controller settings for Dolphin, from the Dolphin's main window, navigate to Options -> Controller Settings, or simply click the 'Controllers' button.
